It’s a rainy Sunday in downtown Toronto — come with me for a walk through Kensington Market, then to watch the Raptors lose at a sports bar.
Grey skies, wet streets, and that slow Sunday energy. I start off wandering through Kensington Market, one of the most vibrant (and chaotic) spots in the city. Even in the rain, it’s alive — colorful storefronts, quiet corners, and that mix of cultures you only really feel here.
From there, I head into a packed local sports bar to catch a Toronto Raptors game. The vibe? Loud, hopeful… and then slowly painful as the game slips away. You can feel every reaction — cheers, frustration, disbelief — all in real time.
This is Toronto on a rainy day: a little moody, a little unpredictable, but always full of character.
If you’ve ever spent a Sunday like this, you’ll get it.
