I’ve made my way from Toronto, Canada, to Paris, France, after hearing reports that violence will once again erupt in the streets this Saturday. Protests, riots, vandalism, looting, and potentially even targeted robberies are among the concerns. A close friend of mine in the press has warned me that certain groups have allegedly discussed targeting wealthy individuals and stealing their personal belongings, almost an “eat the rich” mentality. Whether these threats actually materialize remains to be seen, but I’m here on the ground to document what really happens. Over the next seven days, I’ll be exploring the streets of Paris, showing you the atmosphere, the tensions, and whatever unfolds. This is not your average tourist experience. Stay tuned!
