It’s been over 20 years since I last stepped foot in the Dominican Republic, and it feels great to finally be back. Growing up in Toronto, I was surrounded by Dominican friends, so the culture, the music, the food, and the energy have always been familiar to me—but this time, I want to experience the country for myself. We’re starting things off with something as simple as a visit to a typical Dominican barbershop, but trust me, getting a haircut here is an experience unlike anywhere else in the world. This is just the beginning, and I’m looking forward to getting beyond the resorts, meeting the people, exploring the real Dominican Republic, and seeing where this adventure takes us. 🇩🇴
