Parkdale is one of Toronto’s most unique and diverse neighborhoods, but many people don’t realize it’s also home to one of the largest Tibetan communities outside of Asia.
In this episode, I spend the day exploring Toronto’s Little Tibet, walking the streets of Parkdale, meeting local residents, visiting businesses, trying Tibetan food, and learning more about the culture, history, and people who helped shape this vibrant community.
From bustling restaurants and prayer flags to stories of immigration, resilience, and identity, this is a side of Toronto that many Canadians have never experienced.
Join me as I take a closer look at the heart of Little Tibet in Parkdale, Toronto.
