Today I spent time in downtown Montgomery, Alabama, a place that played a major role in both the history of slavery and the Civil Rights Movement.
Just steps away from where slave auctions once took place, where men, women, and children were bought and sold, I had the opportunity to learn more about the city’s past. Montgomery later became the center of another historic moment when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a city bus in 1955, helping spark the Montgomery Bus Boycott and changing the course of American history.
A big thank you to the two gentlemen who took the time to share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives with me. Conversations like these are what make travel so meaningful.
This is just a RAW, unedited clip from one of many interviews I filmed while exploring Montgomery. The full feature video will be released on my main channel in the coming days.
