n this video, I was given a rare opportunity to step inside a Haitian Vodou community in the Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and learn firsthand about their traditions, beliefs, ceremonies, and spiritual practices. A huge thank you to everyone at Gran Lakou Byen Palanmo for welcoming me, allowing me to film, and taking the time to teach me more about the Vodou religion and its importance within Haitian culture. This experience was about listening, learning, and showing a side of Haitian culture that many people never get the chance to see.
