Growing up in Toronto, I was always surrounded by Guyanese friends and culture. I spent plenty of time in their homes, at BBQs, family gatherings, and parties, so Guyanese culture has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Years later, I finally visited Guyana for myself and fell in love with the country, the people, and the culture even more. 🇬🇾
