Today I’m keeping it RAW as I walk through Mountain View, one of Anchorage’s most talked-about hoods. Alaska is known for incredible scenery and adventure, but there’s another side that tourists rarely see. The high cost of living, housing insecurity, homelessness, addiction, poverty and crime are real challenges for many people here. I wanted to get out on foot, talk to people and show you what life actually looks like beyond the postcard version of Alaska.
