After spending several days in Paris covering the protests and unrest and walking the streets, I’m heading south to Marseille, a city with a reputation for gang violence, drug trafficking, and some of the most notorious neighbourhoods in France.

With major demonstrations reportedly planned for Halloween, October 31st, tensions could be running high. Marseille is a city known for its beauty, history, and culture, but also for a darker side that most tourists never see. I’m coming here to get beyond the headlines, hit the streets, speak with locals, and document what’s really happening on the ground. Will Halloween bring peaceful protests or another night of chaos?

There’s only one way to find out. This is Chris Must List, and I’m definitely not your average tourist!
