Today in Rio, I stumbled into a wild Argentina beach party on Copacabana after one of the craziest World Cup comebacks I’ve ever seen. Argentina was down 2–0 against Egypt with only minutes left in the game, and somehow they pulled off the impossible—three straight goals to win 3–2. The beach exploded. Flags were waving, people were jumping, singing, hugging strangers, and celebrating like they had just won the whole tournament. I came here thinking I was just walking along Copacabana… and ended up in the middle of Argentina’s victory party in Brazil.
