BADMIND PICKNEY is a Jamaican movie about Shanice becomes bitter and jealous when her best friend, Kiara, continues to receive awards, praise, and attention at school. Instead of teaching her daughter to work harder, Shanice’s mother, Miss Claudette, encourages her jealousy and helps her plot against Kiara.
What begins as envy soon turns into lies, obeah, betrayal, and a dangerous false accusation that threatens to destroy an innocent young man’s future. But as Shanice continues down the wrong path, her own life begins to spiral out of control. When she becomes pregnant and turns to her mother for help, one final reckless decision leads to a heartbreaking tragedy.
