I went kayaking across the historic Hermitage Dam in St. Andrew, Jamaica 🇯🇲, one of the major raw-water storage sources supplying Kingston and St. Andrew.

Built in 1927, Hermitage Dam is now 99 years old in 2026 and has a total storage capacity of approximately 393.5 million gallons of water. This massive reservoir has played an important role in Jamaica’s water infrastructure for generations.
Come with me as we explore the dam from a completely different perspective, surrounded by the beautiful hills and countryside of St. Andrew. From the huge body of water to the historic dam structure and surrounding landscape, this is a side of Jamaica that many people never get to see.
If you enjoy Jamaica exploration, kayaking adventures, hidden places, Jamaican history, reservoirs, dams, countryside scenery and real-life Jamaica videos, watch this adventure all the way to the end.
Watch in 2160p 4K for the best experience.
We Should NOT Have Kayaked This DANGEROUS 99-Year-Old Dam
