I met up with two old friends, Elias https://www.instagram.com/eliasgarcia902 and Black Canuk @BlackCanuk , for a day on the ice in St. Catharines, something we hadn’t done together in years. We spent about two and a half hours out there ice fishing—joking around, reminiscing about old times, and doing what friends do best when they finally get back together. The fishing was steady enough, and by the end we landed three perch, which made the time on the ice even sweeter.
After that, we headed onward to Niagara Falls, and the sight stopped me in my tracks. The falls were frozen in a way I honestly can’t remember ever seeing before—an unforgettable moment that capped off a perfect winter day.
