Day 1 back home. It’s been just 26 hours since I returned from Guyana, trading the heat and color of Georgetown for the brisk, snow-covered streets of Toronto. The contrast hits fast — warm air to cold breath, unfamiliar streets to the ones that raised me. In this walk, I’m stepping back into my hometown, moving through the streets I grew up on.
